        「飛紙仔，為香港影視圈的一個術語，指編劇開拍時，還沒有原整劇本，邊拍邊寫劇本，臨場開拍時給演員劇本的一種現象。」
2024 年 6 月，以聲音作品參加廣州畫廊（Canton Gallery）的「飛紙仔（Script on the Fly）」展覽。本次展覽的特別之處在於，參展藝術家們會在開幕日前一個月便入駐廣州畫廊，在畫廊中進行現場創作，並對外展示開放工作狀態，直至展覽開幕才中止。mafmadmaf 也同樣地在畫廊設置了一張工作桌和電腦，和其他在場藝術家一樣，現場進行作品創作：在此過程中，他對各位在畫廊創作的藝術家進行錄音、錄像，然後將這些素材作為原料，灌輸進他設計的一套聲音生成算法中。在展覽開幕日，他在現場使用攝像頭演奏這個經過一個月不斷修改的程序。

        「飛紙仔」in Cantonese means: to shoot a film without a completed script.
In June 2024, mafmadmaf presented a sound work at Canton Gallery (Guangzhou) as part of the exhibition Script on the Fly. What set this exhibition apart was its format: participating artists took up residence in the gallery one month prior to the opening, creating their works on-site in an open studio setting, visible to the public, until the day of the exhibition’s inauguration.
During this period, mafmadmaf installed a work desk and computer in the gallery, producing his piece alongside the other artists in real time. He recorded and filmed the creative processes unfolding around him, using these materials as raw inputs for a generative sound algorithm of his own design. On the exhibition’s opening day, he performed this program live at the gallery with a webcam.
